Pam creates sustainable landscapes through locally-suited design and appropriate plant selection, emphasizing simplicity and water conservation. She educates clients on gardening methods, with a focus on easy maintenance and open communication.
Pam’s management services entail regular visits to existing gardens over a set period of time. This service is tailored for people who need help directing their garden’s maintenance and establishing best practices.
Pam’s consulting services range from helping clients who just need a few problems solved (for example, improving soil fertility, maximizing the viewshed) to helping them design and implement their own projects, whether large or small.
* In all cases, Pam prepares written reports for the owner and detailed instructions for the gardeners.
How will the garden be used?
For relaxation, entertaining, games and/or play.
What are your design choices?
Plant texture, color, variety, height, plus hardscape elements can all create your desired effect.
How will we integrate your local ecosystem and soil health into the garden design and maintenance?
To create naturescapes that are easy on the eyes and gentle on the environment, Pam pays close attention to water conservation, non-invasive plant selection, safe maintenance practices and the enhancement of soil biology and the health of wildlife.
Pam lives in Mendocino County and divides her practice between Anderson Valley and South San Mateo County landscapes.
